The Lao Foundation believes that it is through providing opportunities to those who have less in life that will give way to long-lasting impact in the communities that we serve. Aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) of Quality Education and Sustainable Communities and Cities, the LFI-ESG Scholarship Project was designed to give back to our coconut farming communities where the D&L Group of Companies operates.
The goal of the program is to uplift the lives of our coconut farmers by extending our support through scholarships for their children and assisting them in other areas that would help ensure the sustainability of their farms. Through our sustainability projects, LFI envisions a stronger local community and long-lasting change for the betterment of the lives of our coconut farmers.
